R-666 Titanium Dioxide

R-666 is a high-performance rutile titanium dioxide specially designed for the plastics industry. It features optimized particle size distribution and special organic surface treatment, delivering excellent whiteness and outstanding dispersibility.

With a dry powder whiteness reaching CIE L* >=98 and a blue undertone, R-666 effectively counteracts the yellowish hue inherent in some polymers. It provides a purer, brighter white appearance to plastic products, enhancing their visual quality and market appeal.

The product offers excellent hiding power and color strength, achieving ideal opacity with lower addition levels to reduce formulation costs. Its low volatile content (as low as 0.2%) and minimal screen residue (45um sieve <=0.02%) ensure smooth processing and fewer defects.

R-666 is specially formulated for high-temperature processing conditions in sheet, pipe, and masterbatch production. Its organic surface treatment reduces moisture absorption during storage and minimizes discoloration or odor during processing.

This versatile grade is compatible with polyolefins (PE/PP), styrenics (PS), engineering plastics, rigid and flexible PVC, and ABS. It delivers consistent performance across masterbatch, sheet, pipe, and other plastic applications. Available in 25kg bags with a shelf life of 24 months. Sample support available.
