Indirect zinc oxide is a metal oxide that is a white hexagonal crystal or powder at room temperature, with a particle size of around 0.1-10 microns. Difficult to dissolve in water, soluble in acids and strong bases,  ammonium salt solutions. Odorless and odorless, without sand. When heated, it turns yellow, then turns white again after cooling, and sublimates when heated to 1800 ºC.
