*Among the salts of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, disodium salt is the most important. It is an important chelating agent. EDTA Na can also be used as a substitute for electrochemical polishing of copper plating, gold plating, lead tin alloy plating, steel parts, and silver plating solutions on    copper parts. It is also used as detergent, liquid soap, shampoo, agricultural chemical spray, bleaching fixer, water purification agent, PH regulator,    retarder, etc. In the reduction initiation system used in the polymerization of styrene butadiene rubber, EDTA disodium serves as a component of the active agent, mainly used to chelate ferrous ions and control the polymerization reaction rate.
