Rubber Accelerator TMTM(TS)

Tetramethylthiuram Monosulfide (TMTM, CAS 97-74-5) is a yellow crystalline powder accelerator for natural and synthetic rubber. It offers moderate vulcanization speed, good scorch resistance, and excellent dispersibility. Widely used in tires, cables, hoses, and colored rubber products, it enhances heat resistance and mechanical strength without heavy metals, complying with REACH and RoHS. Packaged in 25kg bags or jumbo bags, with a 24-month shelf life.

Application

The application of Rubber Accelerator TMTM(TS)

 

Generally used as a secondary accelerator or as a booster for sulphenamide-type accelerators to achieve a faster cure rate. Distinguished by very good processing safety compared to other thiuram-type accelerators, high curing activity, and no discoloration.

Its critical temperature is 121°C.
