Sodium hexametaphosphate SHMP , detergent grade 68%, CAS 10124-56-8. Sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP) is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula , It is a white crystalline powder. It is readily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents. It is primarily used in  the food industry as a quality improver, pH adjuster, metal ion chelator, adhesive, and expander. It is also used in industrial  oilfields, papermaking, textiles, printing and dyeing, petrochemicals, leather, metallurgy, and building materials.

 SHMP is primarily used as a water softener in printing, dyeing, and boiler solutions. We sell industrial and food-grade sodium hexametaphosphate produced by Chinese manufacturers.

1. Drilling Fluids - acts as a dispersant and scale inhibitor, preventing clay swelling and metal ion precipitation. 
2. Food Industry (E452i) - acts as a chelating agent, emulsifier, and texture enhancer in meat, dairy products, and beverages. 
3. Detergents - softens water by chelating Ca²+/Mg²+, improving cleaning efficiency. 
4. Water Treatment - acts as an anti-scaling and corrosion inhibitor in boilers and cooling systems.
